My Sleeping Angel

So Olin is 10 months today and I cannot believe it! Where did 10 months go?? He is already so close to one year, next thing I know it he'll be starting school! They just grow up so fast!! I snapped a quick shot of him this evening after he finally went to sleep, he just looked so peaceful...maybe because he's actually asleep...he's not much of a sleeper!

My little sister Erin had her first baby in May!!  I have not met the little guy in person yet (they live in out of state) but they will be here for a visit in July and I cannot wait!!  So, I of course I wanted to photograph him when he was tiny and brand new, but being so far away makes that pretty difficult! Well, the next best thing was to design the birth announcements, so Erin had portraits taken and purchased a disk so I could design the announcements.  It was a cute little post card...here is how it turned out!

A Day At The Beach...

My friend Nohemi and I took our boy to the beach on Thursday and we had such a great day!  Officially we made the trip to check out some spots to take portraits during my beach weekend in next month, but I think we just wanted an excuse to go and play at the beach with our boys!!  It was Olin's first time at the beach which made it super special!  I love the beach so much! Here are a few from our day....

It wasn't all play though!  I did find a couple of really great spots that I am excited about using for portrait session!  There are still a few session times available...if you are interested please call or email for more information!  It's going to be great!!

They Grow So Fast...

Chase's last day of Kindergarten is today...it's pretty tough for me!  I cannot believe just how big his is!!!  Here are the first and last day of school pictures...

Chase has been at this school for three years and we have loved it so much!  I really wish that we could continue at the same school but it only goes through Kindergarten.  I'm really sad to leave all of the wonderful families and teachers that we've met.  I think it's going to be a tougher transition for me than Chase!!!  It is the end of this chapter of his life and now onto an even bigger chapter...

Beach Sessions!

 have finally scheduled a beach weekend!!  I am super excited about this!  The beach is one of my favorite places and combining that with my love of taking pictures, there couldn't be a better weekend for me!!  The dates are July 11th and 12th. So Much To Say!

I just realized that it has been a month since my last blog!!  That is so bad, but I have been super busy!  So this blog is gonna be the catch up blog with lots of stuff!  I am going to try and get back on my once a week blogging schedule!

First off I took a vacation in May with my boys to visit family in Boise.  My Sister Sarah graduated from Boise State!!  We are all so proud of her!  We combined her Graduation Party and Baby Shower together and just had one big party.  It was such a so much fun and so great to see all my family!  I really love Boise!!  Chase and his cousin are really close in age and they just had the best time together!  So here are a couple of picture from our trip...

At the party Uncle Miles had paint set up for the boys to paint rocks...it then turned into face painting and our boys turned out like this!!

I've also been super busy working on the yearbook for Chase's kindergarten class.  I took the pictures and designed all the pages...it turned out so cute and I can't wait for everyone to see them...here's a preview of what one of the pages looks like...

And on top of all of that I am still busy with newborn portraits at the hospital!  Thanks to Danielle Nunes Photography I am able to work about four days a month at Kaweah Delta.  I love working with the little babies!  They are so precious!  Here are a couple of my favs that I photographed recently...

I love finding new little spots to use for sessions!  I noticed this spot a couple of weeks ago and had been waiting for the right session to use it.  Well, I finally got my chance for Michael's senior pictures.  I had photographed Michael's older brother a few years back and now I had the privilege of taking Michael's too!  Here are a few of my favorites...
